NEB Network App

Accessibility statement

Hochschule Anhalt aims to make its websites accessible in accordance with § 16a (1) sentence 1 and (2) of the Disability Equality Act of Saxony-Anhalt (BGG LSA) together with the BGGVO LSA, in their current versions.

This statement covers the NEB Network App website (this page, the legal notice, the privacy policy and this statement). It does not cover the NEB Network App itself.

Compliance status

This website is partially compliant with the requirements (WCAG 2.1, level AA). The site is available in German and English and can be used with a keyboard, and when “Reduce motion” is switched on in the system settings, no video starts by itself.

Non-accessible content

  • Moving content (2.2.2): Some videos start automatically and loop; not all of them have their own pause button. With “Reduce motion” switched on, no video starts by itself, and tapping a video plays or pauses it.
  • Videos without a full text alternative (1.2.1): The app recordings only have a short description. The videos have no sound; the text next to each one describes what it shows.
  • Contrast (1.4.3): Some small grey labels do not reach a contrast ratio of 4.5:1.

We are working on removing these barriers.

Preparation of this statement

This statement was prepared on 30 October 2026, based on a self-assessment.
